Lamp Posts and Guides

When descring what I percieve to be my role in this odd cosmic dance we find ourselves within, I’ve found this notion coming forward with regularity.

I’m trying to figure out my relationship to it.

I am, as I say, a lamppost.

I am here to help people see the path and the choces in front of them with greater clarity….
To help them see the things that might not have been as readily visible as before…
I am NOT here to choose for them.
I am NOT here to judge them, per-se…
Rather, I am here to shed light on the things around them. Including that which would otherwise lurk in the shadows.

I think that’s the most concise definition of what I percieve to be my purpose as I’ve ever been able to put to word
