How to rebuild a proxmox host’s root disk #

Prep the original host for ease #

1. Remove all the OSDs on the host.
2. Deactivate the ceph services on the host.
3. Upgrade the system to latest.

None of these are strictly mandatory. They all do make things easier if you can do them.

Get necessary files from the original host. #

Setup new vanilla host. #
